DaDa New Pay Structure (Dec 2019) FAQ

DaDa New Pay Structure (Dec 2019) FAQ

After updating the DaDa page with the new pay structure, I received a lot of questions. So here is an FAQ to remedy some of the confusion.

Question 1: Does it total 16.50 + 7 then  X 1.03 ?

If you have 90-hour classes a month and there are 16 students who attended more than 15 classes with you, then you will get total pay: 1830(Base pay+step bonus) * 1.03 (stability factor) = 1910.65

Base pay + step bonus=(16.5+1)*15+(16.5+3)*25+(16.5+4)*10+(16.5+5)*10+(16.5+6)*20+(16.5+7)*10=262.5+487.5+205+215+450+235=1855

If there are 16 students who attended more than 15 classes with you, your stability factor is 1.03

Question 2: How does it work with hours taught that aren't regular students (extra time slots)? Am I paid the same?

In the end of month, DaDa will calculate how many hours you have taught and how many students who attended more than 15 classes with you no matter if they are formal time slots or extra time slots.

Question 3: Please can you further explain the step bonus – are the levels based on number of hours worked per week or per month?

The levels are based on number of hours per month.

Question 4: And what is the stability factor multiplied by? Base pay? Or base pay + step pay?

Stability factor multiplied by base pay plus step pay.
