Is GloZ Legit? GloZ Review: How It Pays, Who Gets In, and Where Else to Apply

Is GloZ legit? Who runs it, what freelancers actually do, how sign-up through its platform works, what it does not publish, and what Reddit says.

Yes, GloZ is a real company, but it is a translation and subtitling business first. It hires freelance linguists for subtitle, dubbing and translation work, mostly for streaming shows, webcomics and games. If you want steady AI training projects, GloZ is a side door at best.

Everything below comes from GloZ's own website and its freelancer platform, read on 2026-10-12, plus a pass through r/AiTraining_Annotation the same day. DigiNo has no link with GloZ and earns nothing from it.

Is GloZ Legit?

GloZ says it started in Hollywood, Los Angeles, in 2016, and now has offices in Seoul, Los Angeles, Singapore and Japan. It used to be called Glocalize and took the GloZ name in 2022.

It says it works in more than 70 languages and has more than 80,000 transcreators, its word for translators who adapt tone and culture as well as words. Its own timeline says Netflix picked it as a dubbing quality control specialist in 2020.

Its own news page says it ranked 160th in the 2026 Nimdzi list of language service companies.

Do not mix GloZ up with gloz.ai, which is a different product. It is a translation checking tool on a waitlist, with no contributor work, and some job sites link to it by mistake.

What the Work Looks Like

GloZ sells localization to companies. Its service pages cover:

  • Subtitles and dubbing for video and streaming platforms.
  • Webcomic and web novel translation.
  • Game localization.
  • Short-form video, marketing copy and documents.

Its subtitle workflow runs from timecodes and translation through sync checks to a multi-stage quality review. GloZ says transcreators, local culture experts and engineers work together on each project.

GloZ also has a page called AI Data Services, but it describes analytics and custom models sold to clients. We found no GloZ page that offers contributors AI training tasks such as rating chatbot responses.

How Signing Up Works

The Freelancer Sign Up link on GloZ's site leads to E'nuff, GloZ's own work platform. Its terms name GloZ Inc. as the provider.

  1. Open the freelancer sign-up from GloZ's website.
  2. Create an account with Apple, Google or an email address.
  3. Choose GloZ inside E'nuff and apply to the projects open in your languages, which trainers on Reddit say is the right route.

E'nuff is also sold to companies as a paid tool, and its terms cover paid plans. One person on Reddit was confused by those plans when registering. If a screen asks you to pay to work, stop and contact GloZ first.

How GloZ Pays

GloZ does not publish freelancer rates or a payout method on its public pages, so we have no listed pay to show you.

Ask for the rate, the unit it is paid by and the payment schedule in writing before you accept a project. Trainers on Reddit say their subtitle evaluation work was paid per minute of audio.

What Trainers Say on Reddit

We read comments that mention GloZ in r/AiTraining_Annotation from April to September 2026. Most come from Italian speakers, and the tone is mostly positive:

  • Several say they work on GloZ subtitle evaluation projects, paid by the minute of audio.
  • One calls it the best company they have used for localization.
  • Some use it alongside other AI training platforms.
  • One person found nothing open for their language when they checked.
  • Others were simply asking what GloZ is, which shows how little known it is.
