Instant Card Transfer fees are capped at 15 USD, or 25 USD to US banks. A bank transfer to an account in another country costs 5 USD even in the same currency. SWIFT payments can lose more on the way, because each intermediary bank may deduct its own fee.
Not every method works in every currency, so check the list in your own account. Deel pays out in almost every currency, including the Indian rupee, the Nigerian naira and the Philippine peso.
Use Wise to Keep Your Dollars
Withdraw in your contract currency and Deel adds no exchange fee. micro1 pays in US dollars, so a dollar account avoids an early conversion at someone else's rate.

Wise does not give USD details to addresses in some countries, including Nigeria, Pakistan and Bangladesh. There, a local bank transfer in your own currency also carries no Deel fee.

How to Withdraw Money From Deel
- Verify your Deel account. On micro1 this is the KYC identity check at payroll.micro1.ai, and you can't move money out until it's done.
- Add a withdrawal method under Finance, then Withdrawal methods, then Add Method. The name on the account must match your Deel profile, and the billing address must match the account's address.
- Wait for pay to land. Your Deel balance updates each time the platform pays you.
- Click Move money on the Balance card, enter the amount and pick your method. You can split one balance across methods.
- Review the summary, where any fee shows, confirm, then follow the payment in the Withdrawal Tracker.
For PayPal, the email on your PayPal account must match your Deel profile email. To skip the manual step, turn on automatic withdrawal: Deel then sends all of each payment, or a share you choose, to your preferred method.
How Long a Deel Withdrawal Takes
Deel shows an estimated arrival date for each withdrawal in the Withdrawal Tracker. It can take an extra business day or two, and most banks don't process payments on weekends or public holidays.
Instant Card Transfers usually arrive in seconds, though a bank can take a few hours. Using a different card number or cardholder name can trigger a one-time check that adds one business day.
A national holiday in your bank's country can push the date back by 1 or 2 business days.
What to Do If Your Deel Withdrawal Is Delayed
- Still processing after 24 hours? Cancel it and try again.
- Arrival date passed? Check your name and account number, then download the withdrawal statement and give it to your bank. Its Trace ID or UETR lets the bank trace the payment.
- Still missing? Open Finance, then Transactions, click the withdrawal and choose Report an issue in the Transaction Tracker. For a call with Deel support instead, have a bank statement covering the dates since you withdrew.
- Withdrawal failed? The money returns to your Deel balance three to five business days after the failure.
- Pay never reached your Deel balance? That is the platform's side. micro1 asks you to check its help library and your Human Data Manager first, and sends Deel account problems to Deel support.
Deel can't undo a payment sent to a crypto platform or wallet, so check the address twice.
Avoid the Usual Snags
- Finish Deel verification before your first payday, so the money isn't waiting on you.
- Use your own name and address on every withdrawal account, exactly as on your Deel profile.
- In India, ask Deel for a NOC when you add your bank transfer method if your bank needs one to issue a FIRC.
