Yes, Centific is a real company. It sells AI training data and model testing to AI labs and enterprises, and it is based in Redmond, Washington. Most people who do AI training work for Centific never deal with Centific by name. They join OneForma, the contributor platform Centific owns.
Everything below comes from Centific's and OneForma's own sites and Centific's careers board, read on 2026-10-12, plus a pass through Reddit the same day. DigiNo has no link with Centific and earns nothing from it.
Is Centific Legit?
Centific calls itself a global data and AI solutions company. It builds and runs the data work that trains and tests AI models, across many languages and industries.
The legal name is Centific Global Solutions, Inc., at 14980 NE 31st Way in Redmond, Washington. Its job listings say the team includes more than 150 PhDs and data scientists and more than 4,000 AI practitioners and engineers.
OneForma's own homepage says it is a Centific company, and OneForma's terms name Centific as the party you sign with.

How Individuals Can Work With Centific
Centific's customers are businesses. As a person, there are two doors in.
- OneForma. The “Join our Expert Network” button on Centific's homepage sends you there. You sign up as an independent contractor and apply to projects one at a time.
- Centific's careers board. On 2026-10-12 it listed 125 open roles. Most were staff jobs such as engineers, researchers, recruiters and sales, but some were paid annotation and language roles.
The data roles on the careers board are mostly tied to an office. On the day we checked, ten video annotator roles were based in Singapore, clinical annotator roles in Hyderabad, and a one-year renewable English data annotator contract in Penang, Malaysia. A few were open to remote workers in the US.

What Centific Pays on Its Own Listings
US listings on Centific's careers board show an hourly rate. These three were open on 2026-10-12.
| Role at Centific | Where | Listed at |
|---|---|---|
| Content Quality Evaluator, English (full time) | Redmond, Washington | $22/hr |
| Localization QA Tester, Indonesian (part time) | Remote, US | $25/hr |
| Lead Vietnamese Localization QA Tester (full time) | San Antonio, Texas | $32/hr |
These are the rates the listings state, not a promise of work or income. The English evaluator role asks for native English, a bachelor's degree and the right to work in the US without sponsorship.

Centific says it sells data collection, human feedback for AI models, fine tuning data, and safety and quality testing, in more than 200 languages and regional variants. On OneForma, that becomes five kinds of project: data collection, annotation, judging AI outputs, transcription and translation.
Open projects on OneForma's homepage on 2026-10-12 included:
- A physician reviewer for clinical reasoning on patient record cases.
- A search relevance annotator for online shopping results.
- Paid group recordings of bilingual conversations that switch between your native language and English.
- In-person studies, such as a movement recording study in Las Vegas and an overnight home video session near Redmond.

What People Say on Reddit
Few Reddit threads talk about Centific by name, and several “is it legit” posts in r/WFHJobs were removed by moderators. Most first-hand reports sit in the OneForma subreddit.
- Accounts locked for suspicious activity after a change of device or network, with slow appeals.
- Weeks with no tasks, or projects paused with little warning.
- Applications stuck in screening for weeks after passing the tests.
- Late or missing payments and slow payment support.
- One person hired as a Centific data annotator could not log in because the login code went to a Centific email address they had no access to.
Trainers on Reddit suggest working from your own device on your own home internet, with no VPN, and keeping notes of the project, dates and hours you work.
