Rise Data Labs is a real, registered company, and its jobs board lists real AI training roles with pay shown. It is mainly a data vendor that sells to AI companies, though, and trainers on Reddit describe long silences after applying. Apply if a listing fits you, but do not count on it.
Everything below comes from Rise Data Labs' own site, expert site and terms, read on 2026-10-12, plus a pass through r/AiTraining_Annotation the same day. DigiNo has no link with Rise Data Labs and earns nothing from it.
Is Rise Data Labs Legit?
Its terms name the company as Rise Tech Inc., doing business as Rise Data Labs, under Delaware law. The terms were last updated on August 16, 2026.
The main site is written for buyers. It invites AI teams to book a call or request an NDA, and its privacy policy says Rise builds AI evaluation benchmarks, datasets and data pipelines for clients.
The contributor side lives on a separate expert site. That is where trainers apply.

What the Work Looks Like
Rise's platform page shows 33 demo tools for the kinds of tasks it runs, such as:
- Ranking several AI responses to the same prompt.
- Writing prompts with grading rubrics.
- Recording your voice reading text or describing images.
- Captioning videos and labeling gameplay.
Its jobs board showed 116 roles on 2026-10-12. Most were coding, science, math and language roles, plus a few short finance and accounting projects.
Some listings are short, intense projects. The finance role posted on August 19, 2026, asks for about 40 hours a week for two weeks, with at least 20.

How Rise Data Labs Pays
Every listing on the jobs board shows an hourly rate. Here is a spread of what the listings showed on the day we checked.
| Role on Rise Data Labs | Listed at |
|---|---|
| Finance Expert, AI Training and Evaluation (Global) | $150/hr |
| Nuclear Physics AI Training Specialist | $30-60/hr |
| AI Training Python Coding Specialist | $15-45/hr |
| Spanish Language AI Training Specialist | $15-45/hr |
| Entry-Level Generative AI Content Reviewer | $15-30/hr |
| Remote Image Annotation Specialist | $5-10/hr |
These are the ranges the listings state, not what anyone will earn. Most roles sit in wide ranges, so ask where you would land before you start.
The expert site promises weekly payouts with no minimum. We could not find a page that names how the money is sent, so ask before you do any work.

How Signing Up Works
- Create a profile on the expert site and describe your field.
- Do an interview, either with the team or as a short recorded AI interview.
- Take a short skills assessment in your field.
- Get invited to projects that match your skills.
The expert site says people from any country can apply, and no AI experience is needed. Some listings are limited to the US, and some ask for a master's degree or years of work in the field.
Read the terms before your interview. Rise may record interviews and transcribe them, and on some projects it monitors work sessions with screenshots and activity tracking. It says it tells you about monitoring when a project starts.
The terms also say an interview or a project does not guarantee an offer or ongoing work, and that Rise owns everything you produce.

What Trainers Say on Reddit
We read comments that mention Rise Data Labs in r/AiTraining_Annotation from April to October 2026. There are not many, and most are about silence:
- One person applied to three roles in early April and had heard nothing a month later.
- Another said you register, apply and wait more than a month with no feedback.
- Others call it a ghost town, or simply dead.
- One person was wary of a recruiter email from a Rise address that had no signature, website or phone number.
We found no Reddit reports from people describing paid work there. That does not prove no one is working, but it is a thin record.
