Teachers Can Also Get Paid to Train AI
Cambly asks for fluent English and no teaching qualification. If you have classroom experience, there is a second kind of remote work to know about: AI labs pay teachers to judge whether an explanation is clear, correct and pitched at the right level. Teachers review and improve what AI writes for classrooms, such as lesson plans, unit plans and pacing guides.
Ethos, one of the platforms we review, listed K-12 teacher roles on LinkedIn on 2026-10-13. The listing describes creating, evaluating and refining AI-generated unit plans, lesson plans and pacing guides, with 5 to 20 flexible hours a week, fully remote.
| Role | Listed Rate | Experience Asked For | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| K-12 Teacher | Listed at $80 per hour | 4+ years in teaching, coaching or school administration | Ethos listing on LinkedIn, read 2026-10-13 |
Every teacher listing we read that day showed a US location, and the ads do not say whether applicants outside the US can apply. Listings change often, so check the current ad first.
Read the Ethos review, the AI training jobs guide, or answer two questions in the AI Training Job Matcher to see which platforms fit your background. Tutoring on Cambly can sit alongside it.
