RemoExperts, also called REX, appears to be a real but very young AI training platform. Its domains were registered in August and September 2025, and its own community admits to early growing pains. We could not confirm where the company is registered, its job pages contradict its own FAQ, and trainers report frequent ID check failures. Treat it as a maybe, not a sure thing.
Everything below comes from RemoExperts' own site, FAQ and privacy policy, read on 2026-10-12, plus public domain records and two subreddits the same day. DigiNo has no link with RemoExperts and earns nothing from it.
Is RemoExperts a Real Company?
Here is what we could check, and what we could not.
- Its privacy policy names the company as Remoexperts Inc., trading as RemoExperts and REX. The policy was last updated on 2026-07-16.
- The policy gives no street address and no state or country of incorporation. The only contact on the site is a recruitment email address.
- Public domain records show remoexperts.com was registered on 2025-08-21 and rex.zone on 2025-09-17. The old address now redirects to rex.zone.
- We searched for a business registration under that name on 2026-10-12 and could not confirm one.
- It runs an official subreddit, where a post from August 2026 calls REX a young platform that had growing pains from late 2025.
None of this proves a scam. It does mean RemoExperts has a short track record and has published less about itself than older platforms.
The official subreddit also confirmed in August 2026 that emails from a project called CreativeTrace are a real REX project. If an email claims to be from REX, check the official subreddit or your dashboard before you reply.

What the Work Looks Like
RemoExperts' FAQ lists the kinds of tasks on offer:
- Annotating images, video or text.
- Ranking or rating AI output.
- Security and safety review.
- Technical or coding tasks.
- Judging creative content, and checking research and data quality.
Its homepage recruits cinematographers, Photoshop and After Effects specialists, developers, software engineers, STEM PhDs, writers and generalists. It says it has onboarded more than 120,000 experts in over 50 countries, which we could not check.
Projects run from one-week pilots to several months. You can turn down any invitation, and there are no minimum hours unless a project sets them.

The Job Pages Do Not Match the FAQ
The jobs section of the site holds more than a thousand pages sorted by country and job type. The one we opened, for AI jobs in the United States, describes a full-time, mid-senior role with a yearly salary.
The FAQ says the opposite. Everyone works as an independent contractor and is paid for completed and approved hours. Go by the FAQ and the terms in your dashboard, not the job pages.

How Getting In Works
- Create an account and fill in your profile. A bachelor's degree is required.
- Take the entry exam. It takes 15 to 20 minutes, and there is no retake.
- Verify your ID with Persona, an identity check service.
- Apply to open roles and take any role-specific exams.
- Wait for a project invitation, then start tasks.
The rules are strict. No VPN, no second account, and no AI tools of any kind during tasks, including ChatGPT, Gemini or Grammarly. Breaking them can mean removal.
The privacy policy adds that you must work from the location you verified. Automated checks on your location, network and signs of shared accounts can affect payment and project access, and you can ask for a human review.
Basic English reading is required, students can apply, and RemoExperts does not sponsor visas.

How RemoExperts Pays
RemoExperts pays for completed and approved hours. Each project sets its own rate, based on how complex it is, your skill level, your region and your accuracy.
It publishes no rates on its official pages. The homepage only says its rates are above the industry average.
Payment usually comes monthly, though some projects pay sooner. You can be paid through Stripe, Payoneer or Wise.

What Trainers Say on Reddit
We read every post in r/RemoExpertsOfficial from May to October 2026, plus mentions in r/AiTraining_Annotation. Most posts ask for help.
- ID checks failing again and again, with false VPN warnings or an “unsupported region” message, from countries including Serbia, Bangladesh, Kenya and South Korea.
- Applications left pending for weeks or months with no update.
- Referral bonuses that never show up.
- Profiles rejected after one hard annotation question on the entry exam, with no way to retake it.
A few people report steady work. One says they have done projects for a few months, and another says there were plenty of projects at one point.
